There are roughly 19 million veterans living in the United States. Recent studies show there are more than 397k veterans in the state of South Carolina alone. This organization purpose is to help as many of our home state veterans as we possibly can. 

About Us

Vets Serving Veterans is a not-for-profit, volunteer based organization founded on the belief that if we all work together, we can make a difference in the lives of our South Carolina Veterans and their families. The mission of Vets Serving Veterans is to help South Carolina Veterans and their families who are facing financial crisis through counseling, advocacy and mentoring.

Transportation Services

  • Temporary Transportation to and from VA Appointments and non medical Healthcare Aide

Handicap Accessible Transportation

  • Provide the Family Veterans with Handicap Accessible Vans for low income

Aid & Assitance

  •  Assist former members of the U.S. Armed Forces and their dependents in obtaining federal and state benefits available to them as a result of their active military service.

  • Locating Benefits for housing and DME Supplies

 

We Also Help:​

  • Veterans with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder find local resources for guidance. 

  • Distribute winter coats, hats and gloves to disadvantaged Veterans for the winter

  • Find employment for unemployed Veterans

  • Support Veterans as they transition to civilian life

  • Veterans with Mental Health challenges find more access to care.

  • Children with grief counseling after losing a loved one

  • Veteran and active duty military members families receive assistance when they are in the hospital

  • Veterans who have legal issues that need representation by an attorney resources. 

  • Homeless Veterans & their families find housing
